Welcome to charming Boonah. What makes a great country town? A charming main street is definitely a must, and our closest town, Boonah ticks all the boxes! High Street is full of great cafes, cute gift shops, friendly smiles and a steampunk town clock! Boonah is our closest town, only 20mins from Ketchup's Bank Glamping and an hour from Brisbane!
Don't be fooled though. A lot of visitors drive through Boonah and think the main street is Hoppy's Fruit Shop, Mitre 10 and a Celebrations. By all means you COULD spend a morning at Mitre 10, but if you head one block over, that is where you will find all the treasures!
From the top of the town to the bottom, here is our High Street Top 5!
There is often a buzz of activity at the top of the town with people stopping in for their morning coffee and baked goodies at Arthur Clives. Open all day, everyday, grab a chair and relax in their beautiful open cafe.
2. Revival Café
Sit down for a delicious brekky or brunch at Revival Cafe. There is a great modern vibe with stylish decor and excellent food! Personally I don't think you can go past a good Eggs Benny, but everything on the menu is scrumptious!
The Story Tree is your spot if you're after the perfect cup of coffee and a cozy nook. As soon as you walk in you will feel so welcome and they have delicious savory and sweet treats as well as a great selection of eclectic gifts too!
A real little gem in High Street, Duck Junction is full of beautiful gifts and treasures and it keeps getting bigger! Pop in for a browse and you are bound to find something special.
5. Rockalicious
This cafe is bound to catch your eye as you walk past with its classic retro vibe and rockabilly memorabilia. Coffee, ice creamery and a tasty menu. Definitely worth a visit!
You'll feel like you are miles away when you stay at Ketchup's Bank Glamping, with barely another house in sight. But, Boonah is just down the hill with all it's charm and conveniences. Do yourself a favour and make sure you enjoy a morning wandering Boonah's Charming High Street
